Mobile Network Codes (MCC/MNC)
MCC & MNC codes that identify mobile operators worldwide.
A searchable list of MCC (Mobile Country Code) and MNC (Mobile Network Code) for major mobile operators. Together they form the PLMN id that uniquely identifies a network on a SIM/eSIM and in signalling. India's MCCs are 404 & 405 (Jio 405-840, Airtel 404-10, BSNL 404-34). Search by operator, MCC or country and tap to copy. Runs fully in your browser — no API.

Frequently asked questions
What are MCC and MNC?
MCC (Mobile Country Code) is a 3-digit code that identifies a country's mobile networks (India is 404/405, the USA 310/311). MNC (Mobile Network Code) is a 2- or 3-digit code that identifies a specific operator within that country. Together, MCC+MNC form the PLMN id of a network.
What is India's MCC?
India uses two Mobile Country Codes: 404 and 405. For example, Reliance Jio is 405-840, Bharti Airtel is 404-10 and BSNL is 404-34. Search this list for any operator to find its codes.
What is a PLMN id?
PLMN stands for Public Land Mobile Network. The PLMN id is simply the MCC followed by the MNC (for example 405840 for Jio). It uniquely identifies a mobile network and is used on SIM cards, in signalling and for roaming.
Why does one operator have several MNCs?
Large operators — especially in India — were historically assigned different MNCs per telecom circle or for legacy brands, so a single operator can map to many MNCs. This tool lists the primary/representative code for each operator.
Is this mobile network codes tool free?
Yes — it's completely free with no sign-up. The list runs in your browser from a built-in dataset, so there are no limits, no API keys and nothing is uploaded.
What are the MCC-MNC codes for Jio, Airtel and BSNL?
Reliance Jio is 405-840, Bharti Airtel is 404-10 and BSNL is 404-34; large operators use several codes across circles. Search any operator in the list to find its MCC and MNC.
Where are MCC and MNC used?
The MCC+MNC (PLMN id) is stored on the SIM/eSIM and used in mobile signalling to identify which network a device belongs to, for network selection and roaming. It's how a phone knows a tower belongs to its operator or a roaming partner.
