Your Age on Other Planets Calculator

Find out how old you'd be on Mars, Jupiter or Pluto.

Enter your date of birth and see your exact age on every planet in the solar system, based on each planet's real orbital period around the Sun (NASA Planetary Fact Sheet). See how many days, weeks and years you've been alive on Earth, then compare it to your age on Mars, Jupiter, Pluto and beyond — most people haven't even turned 1 in Jupiter or Neptune years. Frequently asked questions

How old would I be on Mars?

A Mars year is about 687 Earth days — almost double an Earth year — so your age on Mars is roughly your Earth age divided by 1.88. Someone who is 30 on Earth would be about 16 in Mars years. Enter your birth date above for your exact figure.

How is your age on another planet calculated?

It's your exact age in days (from your birth date to today) divided by that planet's orbital period — how long it actually takes to travel once around the Sun. A 'year' is only meaningful relative to a specific orbit, so the same lifespan in days produces a very different number of 'years' on each planet.

Why is a year on Jupiter so long?

Jupiter orbits much farther from the Sun than Earth does, and farther orbits take longer to complete. A Jupiter year is about 4,333 Earth days (almost 12 Earth years), so most people are still under 10 in Jupiter years even in their 40s or 50s.

Has anyone had a birthday on Pluto?

Almost certainly not. A Pluto year is about 90,560 Earth days — nearly 248 Earth years — longer than any human lifespan and longer than the time since Pluto was even discovered (1930). Everyone alive today is under 1 in Pluto years.

Does the Moon or the Sun have a 'year'?

Not in the same sense. The Moon orbits Earth rather than the Sun, and the Sun is the thing everything else orbits — so neither has an independent orbital period around the Sun, which is why this calculator only covers the Sun's actual planets (plus Pluto).
