Frequently asked questions
Can I resize many images at once?
Yes. Drop in as many images as you like and click “Resize all”. Each one is resized against its own dimensions, so a mixed batch of landscapes and portraits all come out correctly. Download them individually or grab everything as a single ZIP.
How do I keep the aspect ratio?
Use “Resize by percentage”, or in “Dimensions” mode fill in only the width or only the height — the other side is calculated automatically per image. If you set both sides, pick “Fit within” to keep the ratio inside that box.
What's the difference between Fit, Crop and Stretch?
Fit within scales the image to sit inside your width×height while keeping its shape (no cropping). Crop to fill scales up and centre-crops so it fills the box exactly. Stretch forces the exact size and can distort the image.
Will resizing reduce the file size too?
Usually yes — fewer pixels means a smaller file. If you mainly want a smaller file at the same dimensions, use the Compress Image tool instead, which tunes the encoder quality.
How do I resize an image to an exact width and height in pixels?
